Working with an interior designer was a new process for me, and for a small project (laundry and seperate toilet), I had initially thought it was a cost hard to justify as we already had an architect and a kitchen company to help with the design concept. It was only when I became a little unsure of my tile and benchtop choices that we decided to go to Kate for a second opinion. Kate completely flipped my light floor tile / dark benchtop selection and provided a concept that was far better than we could have reached. Even for a small room there are many design and hardwear options which a professional can help navigate the process. We also saved money as we were able to use trade prices through Kate and while the overall concept was far better than what we had come up with , it was also far cheaper. We were so impressed that we have also engaged Kate for our next project ; a kitchen renovation and we will be going to her for future renovations.
